Sometimes like an episode of 'The Prisoner' and other times like an old 'Night Gallery' episode, this movie tries hard to be "The Holy Mountain"(1973) but without panache achieved by Alejandro Jodorowsky. It seems to be an attempt at something supernatural without having conviction concerning it. The major flaw is that it begins with flashbacks from the end of the movie and ends with flashbacks from the beginning of the movie. Enough said?
The characters jump from one extreme to the next and leaves Mark Travis' character as the most wishy-washy character in the film. This movie is very incoherent, and re-uses it's own material via flashbacks (some of them utterly unexplained) too much for it's own good. By the end of the movie I didn't feel it had gotten anywhere.
