Plot:

An elderly woman is murdered in her home and the killer searches, to no avail, for the priceless rubies she was reported to keep. Years later, a husband and wife move into the house and the wife appears to suffer from some mental imbalance, according to the husband. What the wife doesn't realize is that her husband was responsible for the murder of the older woman, his aunt, and is now trying to once again search for her rubies. The supposed mental problems the wife is suffering from are really brought about by the actions of the husband and his accomplice, the housekeeper.
